Lydia Proulx

Lydia Proulx is a Youth Program Specialist for the Technical Assistance and Evaluation Office at Youth MOVE National (YMN). Prior to joining the YMN Leadership Team, Lydia worked as Youth Coordinator and Youth Program Manager of Youth MOVE Massachusetts at the Parent/Professional Advocacy League (PPAL). While at PPAL, Lydia oversaw Youth MOVE Massachusetts’ development and implementation of peer support youth groups, young adult groups, youth trainings and speaking engagements, and annual summer internship program. They are excited to continue their advocacy work with Youth MOVE National, particularly around improving systems and service delivery for LGBTQ2S youth.

Lydia’s own lived experience with mental health, school, and youth leadership drives their dedication to authentic youth engagement, advocacy, and education. Lydia earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Studies from Worcester State University in 2012. In their spare time, Lydia volunteers on a local farm for hunger relief and teaches comprehensive sexual health education to youth and young adults.
